For Middle and High School Math and Science Teachers:
Jackson EMC and SunPower for Schools is offering teachers the opportunity to participate in a free Solar Workshop where teachers will learn about the unique standards-based curriculum on solar technology that can be used throughout the year. The curriculum supports STEM in the areas of problem-solving, math, physics, chemistry, biology, life sciences, and earth science. Participating teachers will receive the curriculum needed as well as ongoing support. SunPower for Schools will provide lunch and a $100 stipend, while HCSD will provide a $200 stipend for a total of $300 for course completion.
The workshop will take place at NHHS.
