An online, self-paced training and resource guide that covers the definitions and rules of FBAs and BIPs, essential components of the FBA, the process for collecting and analyzing baseline data, the process for creating the FBA, and the development of a BIP. This Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)/Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) Resource Guide was designed as a step-by-step guide to help special educatiors make educated decisions based on reliable data. The goal of this course if to standardize and simplify the FBA/BIP process for educators to more efficiently make decisions to help students who exhibit behvior be more successful in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) possible. Additionally, according to IDEA 2004, it is Hall County School's responsibility to provide training to personnel in appropriate FBA and BIP procedures and best practices.
