This face-to-face two day event, is for elementary teachers. The focus of this professional development is creating Standards-Based Formative Assessments and Data Analysis for
Instructional Planning

Purpose: Participants will learn the
process for creating standards-based formative assessments. Participants will
explore a variety of formative assessment types, practice the deconstruction of
Georgia Standards of Excellence and explore depth of knowledge associated with
those standards. Participants will use technology to develop a variety of
standards-based formative assessments. A process for data analysis will also be
modeled. Participants will explore students' achievement/growth data and learn
to make instructional decisions based within the data.
