This course will support teachers in utilizing ACCESS domain scores for differentiated instruction.  Teachers will gain knowledge in how to scaffold learning based on individual student level of language proficiency. In addition, participants will explore how to use the WIDA can-do statements as targets to promote the self-directed learning of each student.  A thorough discussion of ongoing assessment strategies for language proficiency will also be included.  This face-to-face two-day course will use Canvas as an avenue to share resources.  Participants should bring a laptop.
