This workshop provides an approach that focuses on several interconnected elements of scaffolding for Newcomers. Educators will consider how some elements are more teacher-directed, some are more student-focused, and some can be collaboratively constructed. This workshop provides educators time to apply their learning to existing curriculum, enhancing scaffolding techniques and providing appropriate Newcomer supports.
