Hall County Schools Professional Learning

Participants will engage in a 1 day review of all MindSet practices and procedures in order to maintain their MindSet certification. During this one day training, we will review the brain science behind crisis, the four-step counseling model for de-escalation, as well as all of the physical skills on the Skills Checklist.  The training program also covers the establishment of proper documentation, oversight, and ongoing guidelines essential to protecting the rights and well-being of everyone involved.  A final written and skills assessment are required for continued certification.
