Full course description
JHS certified staff will all train to use
literacy strategies in all subject areas, SAMR ( vary DOK levels in technology
use), and in differentiating instruction Teachers will work in their
PLC's reading books, articles, implementing literacy, SAMR and differentiation
lessons and adjusting lessons after examining data. Each month teachers (
varying groups) will train in multiple ways: viewing exemplar teachers/ exemplar
lesson plans, attending workshops which target specific software (Canvas,
Nearpod, Quizlet, etc),attending PL sessions at our school or at Pioneer RESA.
Subject area groups or groups that attend a specific training will be given
work away from class days to embed these new skills in future lessons.
Workshops are at beginner and at advanced levels. All efforts are aimed
at improved student learning and optimizing instruction.
