Perquisite: Creative Structures Course 1: Take student engagement and learning to an atmospheric level with interactive and blended learning structures that inspire creativity, demand collaboration, and promote risk-taking. No doubt you will have your classes rocking with “The Ref and the Relay,” “The Pressure Cooker,” “The Chosen Ones,” and “The Square.” Participants of this active, non-sit-and-get course should bring their laptops…and their well-rested nerves. John Hardison will engage teachers in learning designs that increase student learning and engagement in face-to-face settings and in distance learning environments. Several applicable educational technology tools for synchronous and asynchronous learning will also be discussed.
