Take student engagement and learning to an atmospheric level with interactive and blended learning structures that inspire creativity, demand collaboration, and promote risk-taking. No doubt you will have your classes rocking with “The ABCD Foundation Structure,” “The Trifecta,” “The Blender,” “Slow Jams,” and “The Voting Chips.” Participants of this active, non-sit-and-get course should bring their laptops…and their well-rested nerves.
John Hardison (former ELA teacher, interactive facilitator of learning, and instructional coach at East Hall High School) and Kasey Nored (Math/ESOL/SWD certified and pre-service educator at UNG) will engage teachers in learning designs that increase student learning and engagement in face-to-face settings and in distance learning environments. Several applicable educational technology tools for synchronous and asynchronous learning will also be discussed.
