Fifth grade teachers will participate in a reading PLC to increase their students' reading performance.  We will use a book study of reading strategies as well as time in the Lucy Calkins Reading Kits to grow in our reading tool box strategies.  Teachers will discuss their students' reading performance on assessments and find strategies to meet their students' needs.  We will also dive deeper into the Lucy Calkins' reading kits.
